Ernie Weerasinghe
Ernie has been painting professionally since 2001, studying, exploring and enjoying figurative and landscape painting. He was educated at Royal Navy Colleges of Dartmouth and Greenwich in England. After a navel career he served on the boards of British American Tobacco and of Pfizer in Sri Lanka. Ernie received his art education at Fresno City College, College of the Sequoias and with lee Collie Wight at Nelson Shank’s Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, PA. A regular exhibitor in California, Ernie has won numerous awards including First Place in oils at the Sorenson Gallery in Fresno, Best of Show in the Porterville Open and Best of Show in the Visalia Art League show.
